Consider Making a Year End Gift

Knox Heritage’s mission is to protect Knoxville’s unique character for future generations by preserving, restoring, and transforming historically significant structures and places. Since our founding 47 years ago, we have built a community of preservationists who have partnered with us to protect places like the Bijou Theatre, Historic Westwood, the Airplane Filling Station, and the S&W Cafeteria building on Gay Street’s 500 Block – just to name a few.

The 1815 Highland Avenue home you see above is the most recent example of this important work which keeps the fabric of our unique communities strong. The once derelict home now stands as a vibrant residence in the Fort Sanders neighborhood. It also serves as a tangible example of the power of community advocacy and working together to serve as guardians to the spaces and places that make Knoxville such a dynamic and thriving place to live, work, and visit.

Your tax-deductible gift aids in our mission, and generous donors like you make a real impact in the community we all know and love. Thank you for your support.
