ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Knox Heritage and the East Tennessee Preservation Alliance are proud to partner once again with many businesses, organizations and individuals to bring the East Tennessee Preservation Conference to our region on October 27, 2017 in Clinton. If you love historic preservation and want to learn more about its power in our communities, this is the event for you!

For the past eight years, the conference has been hosted by communities throughout our region: Townsend, Rugby, Jonesborough, Gatlinburg, Maryville, Oak Ridge, Knoxville, and most recently in Morristown as the “Preservation Power Summit”. Attendees include preservation professionals, architects, planners, tourism professionals, government and community leaders, economic developers, real estate professionals and others who have found that advanced knowledge of historic preservation principles and practices has value. It is a great event for learning, networking and experiencing historic sites distinctive to the host community. Historic preservation is more important than ever to the places we call home!

This year, the conference will be held at the CDF Haley Farm. Details are being finalized and will be posted soon.
