Preservation Funds

Looking for a way for your charitable gift to make a difference in the long run? Donors can contribute directly to the Knox Heritage Preservation Fund.

The Knox Heritage Preservation Fund is an endowment fund established for Knox Heritage at the East Tennessee Foundation (ETF).

Fundraising is an ongoing endeavor for any nonprofit, and Knox Heritage has received countless generous donations since its inception in 1974. As Knox Heritage grows and furthers its mission in our community, we seek to find new ways to generate support and secure the future of our organization.

An endowment is comprised of gifts and bequests with the requirement that they be invested while the principal remains intact. A percentage of the income growth is available to the designated nonprofit. This allows for the donations to have a much greater impact over a long period of time than if they were spent all at once.

ETF, founded in 1986, is a public, nonprofit, community foundation created for the purpose of building charitable resources to make communities stronger and lives better through thoughtful giving. ETF serves 25 counties in East Tennessee. For more information, visit
