The showroom of the old Candoro Marble Company will again be the setting of an elegant seated dinner for 24 fortunate guests, who will begin with cocktails, prosecco and appetizers under the allee of cedars. Three candle-lit tables, fresh flowers, specially-selected Italian wines, superb cooks, and handsome, flirty waiters will make this a most memorable evening. The piece de resistance will be the Rotolo di Spinachi. Hand rolled pasta is a special skill of cooks in the Emilia-Romagna region of Northern Italy. Local farm fresh eggs give this pasta a rich golden glow. It is truly a masterpiece. “Party Goddess Tiramisu” followed by Italian cheeses will round out the evening as the moon rises over the romantic remains of the plant that produced finished marble for many of our country’s greatest monuments.
