The Salvage Room is a program of Knox Heritage, accepting donated historic building materials to prevent these valuable items from going to the landfill. These items are re-sold to benefit Knox Heritage. All donations are tax-deductible.

Donations

The Salvage Room accepts donations of historic building materials (50+ years old) such as sinks, stoves, doors, windows, wood, flooring, hardware, lighting, furniture, and more. Other items we will gladly accept are a tall ladder, dust masks, work gloves, drills, sander, dolly, plastic or paper bags, and a trailer. Volunteer Opportunities

We are always looking for volunteers to clean, organize, and pick up items for the Salvage Room. Semester-long internships are also available for students or recent grads. Please email salvage@knoxheritage.org for more information or click here to sign up!
