The Salvage Shop is a program of Knox Heritage, accepting donated historic building materials to prevent these valuable items from going to the landfill. These items are re-sold to benefit Knox Heritage. All donations are tax-deductible.

With our expanded program, we now carry artwork, woodwork, home decor, and furniture!

The Salvage Room accepts donations of historic building materials (50+ years old) such as sinks, stoves, doors, windows, wood, flooring, hardware, lighting, furniture, and more. Other items we will gladly accept are a tall ladder, dust masks, work gloves, drills, sander, dolly, plastic or paper bags, and a trailer.

 Volunteer Opportunities

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS! We are currently looking for enthusiastic volunteers to clean, organize, and pick up items for the Salvage Shop, to help improve our new building, and to work during our open hours. Semester-long internships are also available for students or recent grads.
