Crescent School in Greeneville, TN

Crescent School
Greeneville, Tennessee

Crescent School was established in 1925 as an elementary school for grades one through six. Due to consolidation, Crescent School was closed in 1981. Between 1981 and 1986, the building was occupied by Walters State Community College. From 1986 until April 1999, the building was vacant.

On April 20, 1999, at a meeting of the Greeneville Mayor and Alderman, Crescent was purchased by Kent Bewley of Bewley Properties, Inc. On the morning of April 21, 1999, the flagpole was painted in preparation of an American Flag again flying at Crescent and the renovation began.

The renovation of Crescent School to an office complex by Bewley Properties, Inc. was completed July 1999. Bewley Properties, Inc. and other professional tenants have occupied this 25,000 sf historic building since that time. Bewley Properties, Inc. is now looking to sell the building to someone who will help keep and preserve its legacy. This downtown Greeneville building would be perfect for office or residential condos, senior living or to continue as an office building.

The property is a three story brick building on approximately 1.7 acres, with 2 adjacent parcels available to be purchased for expansion of the building or for additional parking. The auditorium/gym on the first floor of the building is currently used for events, meetings, workshops and parties and is a wonderful multi-use space.

The Crescent Building is a wonderful and unique opportunity for someone special!

Please contact us with any questions or to tour the building.
