Knox Heritage’s ever-popular Summer Supper series has offered dozens of memorable meals served in historic houses and scenic locations all over East Tennessee. The delicious foods at these sold-out events often came from recipes treasured by the hosts. For years guests always wanted to know the culinary secrets of their favorites. Spanning eight years and including dishes prepared by hundreds of hosts, the Summer Suppers cookbook compiles many of the recipes featured at the suppers. 

The Summer Suppers cookbook contains more than three hundred recipes, organized by type (appetizers, side dishes, main dishes, desserts, etc.), and also features a history of Knox Heritage and these signature events, vignettes about historic structures in Knoxville, quotes from Summer Supper attendees, and highlights of our region’s gastronomic treasures. The wire-bound book was edited by Gay Lyons and beautifully designed by Robin Easter Design.
